“Our guests are some of the most passionate and knowledgeable football fans in America. So this year, Hooters is teaming up with DraftKings to be the first to bring our guests the excitement of daily fantasy sports, big cash prizes and an exclusive experience with Coach Gruden,” said Carl Sweat, chief marketing officer, Hooters. “As the football fan experience continues to evolve, Hooters is committed to deliver the best fantasy sports experiences anywhere – whether that’s providing the perfect backdrop for a draft party at your favorite Hooters, throwing the world’s largest fantasy football draft party or lining up free access to score real cash on DraftKings during the first six weeks of the season.”
Starting August 24, diehard fantasy football fans are invited to grab an entry code at Hooters locations across the country to join the $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge. Using the code, fans can set a DraftKings lineup for free in a matter of minutes to play for $50,000 in cash and prizes from Hooters every week, awarded September 13 through October 18.
“I’ve been hitting up Hooters since 1983 and I can assure you nothin’ says football season is here quite like watching the game on wall-to-wall flat screen TVs with the smell of Hooters world-famous chicken wings in the air and an ice-cold beer in your hand, served up with one-and-only Hooters hospitality, of course,” said Coach Gruden, former National Football League (NFL) coach, Hooters oyster shucker alumnus and current ESPN Monday Night Football analyst. “This season, I can’t wait to see who brings their A game for the $300,000 Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge, which could mean a chance to hang out with yours truly for a day of some serious chalk talk.”
From rookies to seasoned pros, anyone can play to win the Hooters Fantasy Football Challenge through DraftKings. The players that dominate each week will be handsomely rewarded with cash and exclusive prizes from Hooters, including the “Ultimate Gruden Experience” grand prize which includes a trip to South Florida to meet with Coach Gruden for a full on football immersion session. Coach Gruden is featured in the latest Hooters television ad campaign where he clearly shows he is ready to take on all challengers for a shot at fantasy football glory.

All leagues drafted simultaneously for 15 rounds with 60 seconds allowed for each draft pick per round. The manual draft selections will be entered online for each league to continue on for a chance to win cash and prizes from Hooters throughout fantasy football season.
