Bakery café goes beyond cookies and coffee to offer savory meal options as well
Galleria shoppers in Houston are going to have a hard time resisting the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked treats when Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip opens its third location in the busy mall this Saturday.
The popular bakery café will officially open for business at 10 a.m. March 21, from its newest location next to Forever 21.
Franchisee Jason Piltzmaker has been operating Nestlé Toll House Cafés in the Galleria and elsewhere in South Texas since 2004 and knows what it takes to please on-the-go consumers. He is confident his third Galleria café will be warmly embraced by bustling shoppers thanks to its freshly baked treats, delicious specialty coffees and savory meal offerings.
“We’ve had great success in the Galleria for years because, frankly, who doesn’t enjoy taking a break from shopping with a sweet treat and cup of premium coffee?” said Piltzmaker. “Our newest café is state-of-the-art and I can already tell it’s going to be a very popular addition to the mall.”
The Houston Galleria is one of the first malls across the country to showcase Nestlé Toll House Café’s enhanced in-line concept, which includes comfortable seating, digital menus displayed on five LED screens and an upgraded design that showcases the brand’s distinctive product offerings in a more efficient and attractive manner. Bar seating is also available around the sides of the cafe, as well as tables and soft seating in the adjacent area.
The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world’s most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Each café serves up freshly baked cookies, premium Nescafe Milano coffee, ice cream and a wide array of delectable treats. The Galleria Mall cafés also offer breakfast muffins, cinnamon rolls and croissants; gourmet sandwiches, crepes and Paninis as lunch and dinner options; and barista-quality espressos, cappuccinos and lattes.
The newest Galleria Mall café, located at 5085 Westheimer Road, Suite B9020, in Houston, is the 16th café in the Houston market, the 26th in Texas and the 143rd Nestlé Toll House Café system-wide.
Café hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
