- 22 new development agreements

Huddle House, the iconic 24-hour breakfast franchise, announced a record year of growth in 2015 as the “Any Meal, Any Time” chain celebrated 25 consecutive months of positive same store sales increases and continued its aggressive expansion across the country.
In 2015, Huddle House reported a record 17 new restaurants openings and 22 new franchise and development agreements. The new signings include the first Huddle House locations for Jackson, Tenn.; Carolina Beach, N.C.; San Juan, McAllen, Andrews and Wharton, Texas; Williamsburg and Norfolk, Va.; and Newark and Teterboro, N.J.
The full-service family restaurant finished the year with well over 400 restaurants open or in development in 21 states.
“The credit for such a successful year goes to our dedicated franchise partners and the corporate support team behind them,” said Michael Abt, CEO of Huddle House. “The results show that our strategic initiatives are working. They are: reimage the system, improve restaurant level profitability, elevate the guest experience by improving quality, service and cleanliness, and improve current menu offerings. Huddle House is meeting a growing demand for a place where family and friends can gather to enjoy great food in an inviting and comfortable setting. As a result, demand for our franchise opportunity is growing as well. We expect another great year in 2016.”
Huddle House forecasts accelerating its pace of growth in 2016 with plans to open another 30 locations. The growth will be accomplished primarily through franchising by both single-unit and multi-unit investors in a range of market sizes, including urban areas, small towns, travel centers and convenience sites.
In addition, Huddle House continues to offer incentives to existing franchise partners for remodeling existing stores. The popular program drove 33 restaurant remodels in 2015, which resulted in significantly stronger sales across the system after updates were completed. Since 2012, Huddle House has increased the percentage of current image locations from 6% to nearly 40% and projects that by the end of 2016, nearly 60% of the system will be reimaged.
Typically open 24-hours, Huddle House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. The menu features Southern-inspired home-style food, including signature Big House breakfasts, crispy hash browns, creamy grits, golden waffles and fluffy omelets, all made to order. Other favorites include Big Bold Burgers, Big House sandwich platters, and a variety of home-style dinners like country fried steak with green beans and marinated grilled chicken with sweet potato fries.
The core values on which Huddle House was founded – serving freshly prepared, quality home-style food in a warm friendly environment that brings the community together – are as true today as they were more than 50 years ago.
