White Castle introduces a twist on traditional favorites
Two American favorites – the iconic Original Slider and pizza have come together under one bun as White Castle introduces three new sensational Sliders with classic Italian ingredients. The Pizza Slider and two versions of the Chicken Italiano Slider will tempt Cravers with a sensational new taste.
“We’re focused on continuing to be innovative in our test kitchen and offer our guests exciting new menu items such as the Pizza and Chicken Italiano Sliders which offer a unique taste that our guests will crave,” said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. “With something for all our Cravers, the White Castle menu offers a balanced mix of new limited-time-only options and our traditional Sliders to give our guests more delicious reasons to visit a Castle in their neighborhood.”
The Pizza Slider starts with the legendary Original Slider made with 100 percent beef and topped with savory pepperoni, zesty marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese*, then nestled between the famous White Castle buns.
White Castle also offers two great-tasting chicken Italiano Sliders. The Grilled Chicken Italiano Slider is made with moist and delicious all white meat chicken, and the Crispy Chicken Italiano Slider is made with a crispy breaded chicken breast. Both sandwiches are covered with zesty marinara sauce as well as topped with a slice of melted mozzarella cheese*.
To complete the Slider Italiano Fest meal, Cravers can order Mozzarella Cheese Sticks with zesty marinara dipping sauce. The cheese sticks are offered in three, five or 10 pieces.
The Pizza Slider and Chicken Italiano Sliders are available for a limited time only.
The new offerings represent the continued development of White Castle’s menu from its test kitchen. White Castle, long known for its iconic Slider, has continued to introduce new menu items such as the wildly successful Belgian Waffle Breakfast Sandwiches that were available over the summer and permanent menu items like the mouth-watering Grilled Chicken Sliders. The mission of the White Castle test kitchen is to develop the tastiest new menu items that will keep Cravers coming back for more and attract new customers to the restaurants.
