Iron Cactus Mexican Grill & Margarita Bar today announced that guests can now order tequila shots served Sofia Vergara style. At this year’s Golden Globe Awards, actress Sofia Vergara was photographed by her Modern Family co-star, Sarah Hyland, drinking tequila with five lime wedges placed on the rim of the glass. The photo was shared on Hyland’s official Instagram account at http://instagram.com/p/jF3GkBqgnV/.
“When we saw the photo of Sofia drinking tequila with five limes around the rim, we thought it was a fun, creative way to drink tequila. So we decided to offer our guests the opportunity to drink their tequila the way Sofia Vergara does,” said Gary Manley, General Partner at Iron Cactus. “We give Sofia Vergara all the credit for what we believe will be a new trend in drinking tequila.”
