Boneheads Grilled Fish and Piri Piri Chicken, an Atlanta-based fast-casual restaurant concept, announces its partnership with Mark Miller, James Beard award winner and celebrity chef. Appointed to Boneheads’ board of directors, Miller will serve as Boneheads’ new culinary consultant, providing his expertise on menu and recipe development, culinary training and food operations. In addition, Miller will begin development of new Boneheads menu items, including a specialty dish set to arrive in select locations in August of 2013.
“Mark is an expert in spices and chilies, and he takes an innovative approach to menus, regional cuisines and international flavors,” explains James Walker, board of directors for Boneheads. “With Mark’s guidance, we look forward to refining our menu and enhancing our customer’s dining experience.”
With more than 30 years of professional experience, Mark Miller is recognized as one of America’s foremost chefs and an expert in Southwest cuisine. He has authored several best-selling cookbooks and was a critical part of revolutionary restaurants like Chez Panisse in Berkeley and later his own creations, Coyote Cafe in Santa Fe and Red Sage in Washington D.C. Miller has worked extensively with foods and food companies for the gourmet and retail market. His own line of Southwest foods, Coyote Cocina, has 30 products, including a fire-roasted salsa, which received the best salsa award from Food & Wine magazine

Mark Miller to Visit Atlanta
To kick off his partnership with the brand, Mark Miller will be making a special appearance in Atlanta on August 17, 2013 at several Atlanta-area Boneheads locations. From 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Mark Miller will be appearing at the Boneheads Perimeter location to celebrate its grand re-opening. Celebrating its new store design, the first 50 attendees will receive a free Mark Miller specialty dish. From 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Miller will also make an appearance at the Boneheads location in Brookhaven to celebrate its grand opening. Similar to the Perimeter event, the first 50 attendees at this event will also receive a free Mark Miller specialty dish. Miller will be available for photos and cookbook signings at both locations.
Mark Miller will also be making an appearance at the Perimeter location on August 16 for those entrepreneurs interested in learning more about franchise opportunities. The event takes place from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and offers the opportunity for prospective franchisees to speak to Boneheads executives, as well as meet Mark Miller to learn more about the culinary vision he has for Boneheads.
