Daytime Café introduces Day Glow Juice and a fresh take on Quinoa
First Watch, the nation’s leading Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch concept, launched its limited-time Jump Start menu today nationwide. Like all the traditional First Watch favorites, the seasonal menu keeps things fresh with locally grown ingredients while introducing new, mouth-watering flavors to celebrate the New Year.
Perhaps the most significant seasonal item being introduced by the daytime café is a freshly squeezed juice made using the new Nutrifaster N450 juicers installed in every First Watch restaurant.
“We wanted to start 2015 with something we’ve never done before – something to help people keep their New Year’s Resolutions,” said Shane Schaibly, First Watch’s corporate chef and director of culinary operations. “We decided to bring juicers into all of our restaurants and started juicing fresh fruits and vegetables every morning. It’s really a healthy, tasty and filling alternative to any of the processed juices you can find at other restaurants.”
The limited-time menu also offers two healthy breakfast dishes which include a breakfast-take on First Watch’s award-winning quinoa and an avocado dish served on whole grain Seed’licious toast. For lunch, it features an old favorite – the Superfood Kale Salad – back by popular demand.

Day Glow
All natural fresh juiced carrots, oranges and lemons with a hint of organic ginger juice.
Avocado Toast
Our thick-cut whole grain toast topped with fresh smashed avocado, EVOO, lemon and Maldon sea salt. Served with two basted eggs.
Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl
Two basted eggs atop a protein-packed quinoa, Italian sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms and tomatoes, kale, Parmesan and EVOO.
Superfood Kale Salad
Vitamin-rich kale and mixed greens with housemade maple-roasted carrots, warm grilled chicken breast, dried cranberries, slivered almonds and shredded Parmesan cheese tossed in our refreshing maple-lemon vinaigrette.
The 2015 Jump Start offerings will be available until Sunday, March 8, 2015.
