The Krystal Company, famous for its iconic square burgers, has announced the appointment of Alice Crowder, a seasoned restaurant marketing professional, as Vice President of Marketing for the brand. Crowder reports to Chief Marketing Officer Jason Abelkop. She is based at The Krystal Company headquarters in Atlanta.
As Vice President of Marketing, Crowder oversees management of the product and promotional calendar and all associated partnerships. Crowder directs the product development team as well as the cross-functional implementation team that encompasses research, strategy and pricing collaboration.
Crowder possesses more than 20 years of brand leadership experience, including more than 10 years of restaurant experience. She has served in leadership capacities with Denny’s, and Ovation Brands, and started her career in packaged goods management with automotive leader Royal Dutch Shell.
Crowder received her MBA from Clemson University and her Bachelor’s degree in English from Duke University.
