Enjoy the bite-sized southern favorites available while supplies last!
The Krystal Company, famous in the South for its iconic square burgers, has introduced “Hushpups” as a limited-time menu offering. Starting Monday, December 29, participating Krystal restaurants unveiled a unique take on a truly southern favorite, the hush puppy.
Made with Krystal’s signature onions and fried to golden perfection, the hush puppies are moist and packed with classic Krystal flavor. Fans of hush puppies may enjoy a spirited debate about the most traditional way to make the favorite, but one thing everyone agrees on is that these Hushpups have a unique and undeniably delicious taste. Hushpups can be enjoyed as an afternoon snack or as a side along any combo meal, including with Krystal’s new fish sandwich, also available for a limited time.
“Krystal lives in the South, and so when we introduced a fish sandwich, we knew we had to have hush puppies to serve alongside it,” said Jason Abelkop, Chief Marketing Officer for the Krystal Company. “Our Hushpups complement not only our menu items but also our heritage!”
Krystal’s new Hushpups are available now while supplies last, and can be purchased in quantities of five, eight and 14. The Hushpups are also available as an option in Krystal’s Mix 5 for $5 combo or can be substituted instead of fries on any combo meal at no extra charge. The popable pups are available at participating restaurants only during lunch and dinner, and only while supplies last.
