Landry, Warner honored in 30th annual Baton Rouge Business Awards
Brandon Landry and Jack Warner, owners of Last In Concepts, have been chosen as Baton Rouge’s Young Businesspersons of the Year for 2013. The recognition comes as part of the 30th annual Business Awards and Hall of Fame, presented by the Baton Rouge Business Report and Junior Achievement.
“We are truly humbled by this recognition, which frankly comes as a bit of a shock,” said Jack Warner, co-founder and owner of Last In Concepts, LLC, which includes the popular Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, Happy’s Irish Pub, Roux House and Schlittz & Giggles concepts. “It took a while for the Baton Rouge business community to believe Brandon and I could find success, but a lot of hard work and our commitment to ‘never quit trying’ has paid off.”
The Baton Rouge Business Report will profile each of the award winners and the Hall of Fame inductee (Jim Bernhard, founder of The Shaw Group) in its March 5 issue. They will also be feted at an awards banquet at the Crowne Plaza hotel on Tuesday, March 19.

In August, Last In Concepts will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of its first concept, Walk-On’s, located just off the LSU campus. Walk-On’s New Orleans location was voted “Best Sports Bar in North America” by ESPN in 2012.
