15% of day’s sales at all 11 Illinois locations to be donated to Red Cross
All 11 locations of Lone Star Steakhouse across Illinois are doing their part to help the victims of the tornadoes that swept through the state in November. The “Dine & Donate” fundraiser will be held all day Monday, December 9th.
Each Lone Star Steakhouse location is pledging 15 percent of the day’s net sales (less gift cards) to the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Red Cross.
“These tornadoes literally hit home for many of our employees and their families, and we’ve all seen the horrific devastation inflicted upon Brookport and other towns,” said Rick Matthew, Director of Operations for Lone Star Steakhouse. “We’re asking everyone to come out on Monday, enjoy some of our delicious steakhouse creations for lunch or dinner, and help us help our neighbors in their time of need.”
Lone Star Steakhouses are located in Bloomington, Bourbonnais, Carbondale, Crestwood, Effingham, Elgin, Gurnee, Hodgkins, Joliet, Mt. Vernon and Rockford. The restaurants are open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
