Fun and Convenience Combines with Long John Silver’s Classic Batter-Dipped Fish

Long John Silver’s, (www.ljsilvers.com) the world’s largest quick service seafood company, has introduced Dippin’ Fish Strips, a new, more portable way to enjoy the classic batter-dipped goodness of Long John Silver’s fish. Dippin’ Fish Strips come shortly after the September 2013 launch of Ciabatta Jack Sandwiches, premium fish and chicken sandwiches served on warm ciabatta bread.

“Our customers have told us they want more ways to enjoy the classic taste of Long John Silver’s on the go,” said Charles St. Clair, Chief Marketing Officer for Long John Silver’s. “Dippin’ Fish Strips and Ciabatta Jack Sandwiches are fun and convenient ways to enjoy Long John Silver’s classic fish.”

Dippin’ Fish Strips have been rolled out nationally at an introductory price of $2.99 for a box of five plump and crispy fish strips. The Dippin’ Fish Strips box top opens up to hold a sauce cup so fans can dip and enjoy on the go. Dippin’ Fish Strips are also available as a Combo Meal with a side and drink, a Variety Platter Meal and a Family Meal. Prices and restaurant participation may vary.

All fried foods at Long John Silver’s are now cooked in 100 percent pure soybean oil that contains zero grams of trans-fat.
