National Brand Opens its First New Domestic Restaurant in Two Years
Long John Silver’s, the nation’s largest quick service seafood restaurant, announced the opening of a new location in Statesville, N.C. The newest restaurant is a full-service Long John Silver’s and shares a building with an A&W and convenience store. This is the first domestic Long John Silver’s to open in more than two years.
“This is an exciting first step in our goal to expand and build our brand to serve even more customers,” said David Carr, Franchise Business Manager for Long John Silver’s. “The express feature is perfect for our customers who are on the go but want affordable, top quality seafood.”
Long John Silver’s has more than 1,000 restaurants nationwide. Pinakin Oza, the owner of the Statesville restaurant, is new to the Long John Silver’s franchisee family. He joins more than 261 franchisee groups across the country. The new Statesville restaurant is the nineteenth Long John Silver’s to open in North Carolina.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to be part of this iconic brand,” said Oza. “I believe this restaurant will serve a niche of customers who are looking for variety on the go.”
The Statesville location will have a full menu, it will offer Long John Silver’s most popular menu items, including its classic fish-n-chips, hushpuppies, shrimp and more.
