Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is adding some southern flavor to its weekend brunch menu, which is being served now, exclusively at the Woodland Hills location at the Westfield Topanga, 6220 Topanga Canyon Blvd #1480. The southern style brunch will be available at the Torrance location, at the Del Amo Fashion Center, 21540 Hawthorne Blvd #401b, beginning February 25, 2017.
Lucille’s in Woodland Hills and Torrance hosts brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM-1PM. The new southern brunch menu is guaranteed to have something that the entire brunch crew can enjoy. The new brunch menu incorporates an array of options ranging from a list of southern griddled favorites, multiple benedicts, a range of southern hashes, and multiple breakfast specialties.
The ‘Strawberry Jam Biscuit French Toast’ consists of homemade buttermilk biscuits, dipped in a French toast batter, then griddled to a golden brown, and topped with fresh strawberry jam and sweet vanilla cream cheese, all for just $11.99. Lucille’s takes a fried chicken approach to the beloved eggs benedict in their ‘Southern Fried Chicken Benedict.’ It entails a fried chicken breast on a warm homemade biscuit, topped with poached eggs, and then smothered in Lucille’s country gravy, for only $11.99. The ‘Memphis Hash’ contains slow-smoked pulled pork and is blended with crispy diced potatoes, topped with two poached eggs and homemade hollandaise sauce, and then drizzled with a Memphis BBQ sauce. For those brunching with children, Lucille’s also offers a ‘Kid’s Backyard Brunch’ containing plates starting at $6.99.
No true brunch experience is complete without some sweet libations such as classic mimosas or Lucille’s bloody mary, which contains Vodka, Lucille’s signature seasoning blend, fresh lime and tomato juice. If you want to pair your southern plate with a southern cocktail, feel free to try the Maple Milk Punch, containing Maker’s Mark Bourbon, creme de cacao, maple syrup, milk, cinnamon & nutmeg.
Family owned and operated, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que restaurants offer award-winning savory Southern-style food at its 22 full-service restaurants throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. Signature slow-smoked barbecue ribs and beef, flavorful appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sides and desserts are served with a large helping of down-home, friendly service. Lucille’s restaurants are reminiscent of a Southern roadhouse with a distinctive Southern decor, and Flying Pig Lounges that serve spirits and a full menu.
