Main Event Entertainment To Unveil Remodeled Center In GrapevineGood news, Grapevine FUN-seekers. Main Event is back and better than ever!

On Thursday, May 11, Main Event Entertainment – the nation’s fastest-growing bowling-anchored dining and entertainment destination – will re-open its newly remodeled location at 407 W. State Hwy 114 in Grapevine. The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and other local dignitaries will help unveil the state-of-the-art center during an official ribbon-cutting ceremony from 12-2 p.m.

To show its appreciation for the community’s support during the remodeling process, the Grapevine center will be collecting donations from May 12-13 for GRACE Grapevine, an organization that assists individuals and families in crisis and guides them toward self-sufficiency. Everyone who brings a canned food item will receive $10 worth of FREE game play. Limit one $10 FUNcard per person, regardless of number of cans donated. FUNcard valid for game play only and cannot be used as cash.

And to cap off the opening-weekend excitement, School of Rock will be performing at the center from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.

“Grapevine has long been one of our most popular centers, so we’re really excited for our guests to come back and see the new-and-improved Main Event,” said Charlie Keegan, CEO of Main Event Entertainment. “The remodeled center is absolutely beautiful, and we’ve brought in an even wider assortment of incredible games and exhilarating activities for people to enjoy. Be sure to visit us this weekend to be one of the first to see and experience it!”

The 57,849-square-foot entertainment center has been completely renovated with Main Event’s new design prototype, which features 28 ice-white lanes with multi-color LED lighting and luxury seating, laser tag, billiards, shuffleboard, a high-ropes adventure course and a games gallery featuring more than 100 of the latest interactive and virtual video games.

And whether you’re looking for a chef-inspired casual dining experience in a full-service American-fare restaurant, specialty pizzas in an Italian-themed cafe or handcrafted cocktails in a high energy bar surrounded by big screen TVs, Main Event’s chefs and bartenders aim to please.

Main Event is consistently ranked the “best place for parties,” thanks to its distinctive “Eat. Bowl. Play.” experience. From hassle-free birthday parties to company team-building events to an evening out enjoying a great meal and some friendly competition, Main Event offers more ways to have fun than you can pack into one visit!

The center offers fully equipped private meeting spaces with the latest audio-visual technology, full-service catering, free Wi-Fi and everything else essential to hosting corporate meetings, team-building exercises, holiday parties and other gatherings both large and small.

“We are so grateful that Main Event chose GRACE as its community partner for their grand re-opening,” said Executive Director Shonda Schaefer. “We’ve all been big fans of the Grapevine location for years, and we can’t wait to see what they’ve done to the space. We hope everyone comes out on opening weekend with their canned food and has a great time while helping our neighbors in crisis situations.”

The Grapevine Main Event will be open Monday and Friday from 11-2 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Saturday from 9-2 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to midnight.
