New 35,000-square-foot Food Hall welcomes Zazu, PastaSole, and more to Amazon’s Hank Building
Shaver Hall, the highly anticipated food and entertainment destination set to open in Midtown Manhattan next year, has announced the addition of two exciting partners: Zazu and PastaSole. Alongside these local culinary favorites, Shaver Hall also has plans for a full-service restaurant and bar set to elevate the food hall experience.
Located within Amazon’s Hank building at 424 5th Ave in Midtown Manhattan, Shaver Hall will feature a thoughtfully curated collection of 11 food stalls, a soon-to-be-unveiled Omakase concept, a wine and cheese bar, a steakhouse, and a modern bodega.
“These new additions perfectly align with Shaver Hall’s mission of showcasing exciting local businesses,” said Randy DeWitt, co-founder of Shaver Hall. “We’re creating a space where the Midtown community can come together to celebrate incredible food and drink, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Zazu and PastaSole to the family.”
Zazu, a fresh Mediterranean street food concept that debuted in Chelsea in April 2024, will open its second location at Shaver Hall, bringing its signature chicken shawarma, stuffed falafel, and creamy hummus to the mix. PastaSole, formerly Pasta de Pasta, is expanding from its East Village home, known for handmade pasta tossed in a giant parmesan wheel and other Italian favorites.

Shaver Hall has already announced partnerships with Brooklyn’s favorite F&F Pizzeria, Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded Chick Chick, and Taqueria Al Pastor, which was featured on Netflix’s Taco Chronicles. The lineup is nearly complete, with construction set to begin in early 2025.
Shaver Hall, named after Lord & Taylor’s vibrant President Dorothy Shaver, is coming to Midtown Manhattan in Fall 2025 and will be located within Amazon’s Hank building at 424 5th Avenue. Shaver Hall will celebrate the rich heritage of the iconic Lord & Taylor building and promises to redefine the culinary landscape of Midtown Manhattan.
