In a fitting tribute to National Hamburger Month in May, Max & Erma’s Restaurants, home of the Best Cheeseburger in America, is giving a free slider to every guest with the purchase of a beverage on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26.
Last year, approximately 11,000 sliders were given out on Free Slider Day at Max & Erma’s restaurants. This year, Max & Erma’s wants to give out more than 14,000 sliders as it brings its National Hamburger Month celebration to a close.
Max & Erma’s celebrated National Hamburger Month by being a good neighbor to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Max & Erma’s donated a portion of every sale of its award-winning Tortilla Burger to area Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the month of May. Restaurant guests also had the option of adding a donation directly to their check. Max & Erma’s expects to donate $25,000 to the organization through this year’s National Hamburger Month promotion.
Celebrating its 42-year heritage, Columbus, Ohio based Max & Erma’s—home to America’s Best Cheeseburger—has embarked on an extensive system-wide program to reignite growth. With innovative new gourmet burgers and other new food and drink items, an all-new look, the launch of Kids Eat Free Tuesdays, Free Cookies Wednesday and ½ Price Sangria Pitchers on Thursdays, Max & Erma’s is an increasingly popular neighborhood gathering spot.
