Miami Grill Secures Plans for Latin American LocationsMiami Grill announces its partnership with Grupo Nexo Franquicia, Latin America’s first and largest firm in franchise consulting and international brokerage. Headquartered in Lima, Perú with offices throughout the Latin American Region, Grupo Nexo Franquicia will lead the development of the Miami Grill brand in Peru, Chile and Colombia.

According to Fernando López de Castilla, founding partner of Grupo Nexo Franquicia, “My company has been leading the Latin American franchising industry for some years now and I have seen global brands come and go. I truly believe Miami Grill has the potential and the unique competitive advantages to revolutionize the Latin American food and beverage industry, not only because of its unique brand equity, but because of its fast-casual, top-quality, dynamic value proposition.”

Miami Grill is the newest concept developed by Miami Subs Capital Partners 1, Inc. and equity partner, Armando Christian “Pitbull” Pérez. With an aggressive domestic and international expansion plan underway, Miami Grill operates primarily in South Florida, with restaurants open or under construction in Central & North Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Guyana, Malaysia, Panama, Myanmar and Ecuador. And, recently, a new area developer committed to five new locations in Karachi, Pakistan.

Fernando López de Castilla, a graduate of the University of Texas and Harvard Law School, founded Grupo Nexo Franquicia after 15 successful years as a multinational executive. He actively promotes the development of the sector as a leader, professor, author and international conference speaker. With 100-plus years in combined franchise consulting experience, his firm has an international portfolio of more than 200 global brands.

According to Robert Haar, Miami Grill’s Vice President of Franchise Development, “Working with established franchise professionals with such deep global perspective provides incredible opportunities for the Miami Grill brand.”

Haar, who will be attending the International Franchising Association’s IFA2017 with fellow Miami Grill Executive Vice President Evan Friedman, is looking forward to participating in the “Latin America Opportunity” roundtable, hosted by Grupo Nexo Franquicia. The IFA Convention takes place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV Jan 29- Feb 1, 2017 and is billed as the largest franchising event of the year.

“We are really grateful for the chance to present the Miami Grill story in this forum and share what we’ve learned thus far through our rapid growth and international expansion agenda,” Haar said.

South-Florida based Miami Grill is the hottest fast casual concept to hit the market, developed by the same owners as Miami Subs, Miami Subs Capital Partners 1, Inc. and key equity partner, Armando Christian “Pitbull” Pérez. Miami Grill and its “Everything Goes” concept embody the taste and sensations of South Beach and provide a diverse menu unlike any other chain in the category.
