Popular Hawaiian-style restaurant grows Beehive State footprint
The Greater Salt Lake area is saying hello to not one, but two new locations of Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food. West Jordan says ‘Hui’ with a Dec. 18 opening at 7862 S 5600 W., Suite 101, followed by the debut of the Murray location on Dec. 20 at 5430 S. 900 E. Deepening its roots in Utah, these new locations bring the brand’s presence to 31 total locations throughout the state.
To celebrate, Mo’ Bettah’s is hosting a Friends & ’Ohana pre-opening at each location the night before opening day with complimentary mini dinner plates served from 5 to 7 p.m., as well as fun giveaways, samples and more.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony with founders Kimo and Kalani Mack will take place prior to dinner at 4:30 p.m. at each location.
“We are so incredibly thankful to our amazing Ohana of Utah that have supported us as we continue to spread the Aloha,” said Kalani Mack. “These new locations in West Jordan and Murray are a testament to the love and loyalty we’ve received here and we can’t wait to welcome even more guests to experience the flavors and spirit of Hawaii.”
The fun doesn’t stop with opening day. All guests who sign up for Makana Rewards will receive a free mini plate which includes two choices of meat alongside Mo’ Bettahs famous rice and macaroni salad.
The new locations will both be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
From Spam Musubi, a popular Hawaiian snack, to Kalua Pig, Katsu Chicken and Shrimp Tempura, Mo’ Bettahs’ goal is to share Aloha and an authentic Hawaiian-style experience. Mo’ Bettah’s also has a one-of-a-kind macaroni salad and steamed rice that pairs perfectly with any choice of its tasty meats.
