MOOYAH, a fast-casual, “better burger,” fries and shakes chain, is calling on its guests and Social Media fans to show off their inner chef and create the brand’s next Featured Burger, to showcase at MOOYAH restaurants nationwide.
From March 27 to April 17, MOOYAH invites fans of its Facebook Fan Page to go wild and create their ultimate MOOYAH burger. All of the ingredients currently found on MOOYAH’s menu are fair game, including the base of fresh, American lean beef or all-natural Jennie-O® turkey, freshly baked white or wheat buns, five different cheeses and other extras in addition to nine sauces and a myriad of veggies. There will even be space in the entry form for contestants to enter in a new ingredient not currently offered, to really get those creative juices flowing and MOOYAH fans’ taste buds watering.
After the entry period ends, MOOYAH will select 20 entries for fans of its Facebook page to vote on. On May 17, MOOYAH will announce the winning burger ‘recipe.’ That burger will become the Featured Burger in MOOYAH restaurants across the country, with the winner’s photo placed at all points-of-purchase in addition to receiving a $500 MOOYAH Gift Card. Second place will receive a $250 MOOYAH Gift Card, while third place will receive a $100 MOOYAH Gift Card.
“One of the things MOOYAH guests love most about MOOYAH is the ability to truly build a custom burger,” said Alexis Barnett Gillette, Director of Marketing for MOOYAH. “We thought a Social Media campaign would be a great way for our guests and fans to not only share their favorite burger ‘recipe,’ but also let us know what they want that isn’t on the menu and the chance for their creation to become our Featured Burger at all MOOYAH restaurants.”
The winning Featured Burger will be available at MOOYAH restaurants starting on National Hamburger Day, May 28, giving guests and fans a chance to taste ‘the best of the best’ that MOOYAH has to offer, along with the hand-cut French fries and handcrafted, 100 percent ice cream shakes the chain is known for.
