The better-burger brand’s new website boasts an enhanced responsive design and a mouthwatering digital experience
MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes just got a shiny, new digital makeover. This July, the better-burger brand unveiled a redesigned version of its consumer website, www.mooyah.com—and it’s more user-friendly and fun than ever before.
The new MOOYAH website parallels the brand’s personality. When a Guest visits a MOOYAH restaurant, they’re greeted by lively Team Members who make sure the Guest’s experience is deliciously perfect from start to finish. The new website digitizes that experience in an enjoyable, eye-catching way.
Natalie Anderson Liu, the vice president of marketing of MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes, said one of the most important benefits of the new website is its responsive design, making it easier for viewers to navigate across digital platforms. In simple terms, a responsive design means the website’s pages reformat themselves depending on which device they are being displayed on, ensuring that the browsing experience is maintained whether the content is viewed on a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer. Beyond offering a better and smoother experience for all users, the responsive design also allows MOOYAH to dramatically improve their website’s search rankings on Google.
“One of the main challenges posed with our old website was that it wasn’t mobile-friendly, which limited our search results when someone Googled MOOYAH on their phone,” Anderson Liu said. “It was also a less than stellar website experience visually and navigationally. We knew our site needed to reflect our Seriously Fun personality and reinforce the brand, and we’re confident this new design does just that.”
While redesigning the site, Anderson Liu wanted to make sure each page was not only informative, but also exciting for the viewer. Every part of the site is visually compelling, with more food photography than ever before. The new MOOYAH.com caters to fans of all ages and answers practically any question a Guest, interested applicant, or potential franchisee might have about the brand.
Users will notice bolder—and tastier—aesthetics on the new website, as well as social media feeds on the homepage and on every location page.
“Fans now get to see the social media images they post about MOOYAH on a live feed on the homepage. We love seeing our fans’ content, so being able to share it on our website for other fans to see is a great plus.”
According to Anderson Liu, other important new features include a dedicated careers page where visitors can learn more about job positions at MOOYAH and send in a resume for hiring consideration. Users will also discover an upgraded experience on both MOOYAH’s fundraising program and location pages.
To support the MOOYAH Rewards App that launched in March 2016, the website also includes more information on the brand’s newly-reimagined mobile loyalty app. To date, MOOYAH has had more than 100,000 downloads of their rewards app, and 15 to 20 percent of all Guests are loyalty members. The app has made it easier for MOOYAH to directly engage with their Guests based on their specific purchase history, likes, dislikes, frequency and more. Both the MOOYAH Rewards App and the redesigned website are all part of a concerted effort by the brand to position themselves as a mobile-minded, technology-savvy company in the years ahead.
“This year, MOOYAH has been really committed to upping our game on the mobile and digital front. Between the launch of our Rewards App, our upgraded online ordering experience, and our new, responsive website, 2016 has proven to be the year of mobile sophistication for our brand,” Anderson Liu.
