Burger enthusiasts in Sherman, Texas will have something new to drool over, as MOOYAH, a fast casual, “better burger,” fries and shakes chain, is excited to announce the opening of its newest location at 4114 Highway 75 North, Suite 100, on Monday, July 22, 2013. To celebrate the new opening, MOOYAH of Sherman will host friends and family days on Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. During these events, the restaurant will offer a total of 600 coupons for staff to share with their friends and family. In addition, MOOYAH will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 3 by giving away FREE MOOYAH to the first 50 Guests in line. With 35 locations now open in Texas, MOOYAH hopes to become a Sherman staple, bringing a delicious dining experience to families, friends and neighbors.

Philip Sipe, owner of the Sherman location, graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986. Just after graduation, Sipe began working for Texas Instruments in Sherman, where he spent the next 26 years of his career. With a growing desire to run his own business, Sipe began looking for ownership opportunities and chose MOOYAH because of its superior quality products and excellent operations. Sipe and his wife Teresa, who is a teacher, are eager to further expand MOOYAH’s presence in the state.
“One day I took my family to eat at the MOOYAH located in Allen, Texas and I was very impressed with the experience,” Sipe said. “The food was great and the employees were very friendly, so I knew it was a company I wanted to be involved with. I look forward to serving the Sherman community and cannot wait to provide them with a burger experience they will not be able to live without.”
At MOOYAH, customization is king. Guests have the advantage of choosing from a variety of bread options, such as freshly-baked white or wheat buns and hand-crafted lettuce wraps to accompany either the never-frozen 100 percent American beef patty, Jennie-O turkey patty or the mouthwatering veggie burger. Each gourmet burger creation comes with a selection of unlimited veggies and a choice of nine delicious sauces.
MOOYAH French fries come together in a six-step process that takes a total of 24 hours to completely prepare. A delightful combination of constant attention and a little magic help transform fresh spuds into perfect, crisp-on-the-outside and fluffy-on-the-inside fries.
