Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar Kicks-Off Renewed Franchise Efforts by Forming Fully-Loaded Lineup

Boston’s Restaurant & Sports Bar (Boston’s), a casual-plus dining concept that combines a family-friendly restaurant and separate sports bar under one roof, has recently announced the formation of a brand new franchise development team that consists of three people with extensive experience in brand development.

The primary goal of the new, highly-skilled management team will be to launch Boston’s renewed franchise development program with a bang and increase overall franchise sales, while offering a solid support system for new and existing franchisees. The new team consists of the following:

Al Davis

Al Davis, Vice President of Development and Franchise Sales: Davis has more than 25 years of experience with both publicly traded and small entrepreneurial companies. His previous experience includes leadership positions with KFC Corporation, Boston Market, Starbucks, Tractor Supply Company and Jack-in-the-Box. Davis comes to Boston’s to help identify and sign multiple franchise development agreements with outstanding franchisees, while developing a fun, efficient new prototype that will make Boston’s the place to be for family dining and sports entertainment.

Ericka Garza

Ericka Garza, Director of Franchise Development:With more than 14 years of marketing, advertising and franchise consulting experience under her belt with companies such as 7-Eleven Inc., Nokia and The Dallas Morning News, Garza is the Director of Franchise Development for Mexico, South America, Central America and U.S. She will be working to develop a streamlined franchise sales-specific marketing and advertising strategy for these areas.

Ken Phipps

Ken Phipps, Director of Franchise Sales: Phipps comes to Boston’s with 25 years of high-level executive management experience within sales, operations and logistics, along with several more years in franchising and consulting. Phipps plans to help identify, attract and qualify new potential franchisees in targeted DMAs.

“The team that we put together has a wealth of experience, each one bringing something different to the table,” said Troy Cooper, Chief Operating Officerof Boston’s. “Together, the group will be able to combine their management and franchise development skills to form a solid support system to help franchisees, as well as grow the brand as the whole. Boston’s recently re-evaluated its business model, focusing on improving already-successful locations and developing a solid growth plan for the future. After hiring the new franchise development team, Boston’s formulated the goal to grow the brand to 63 restaurants in the U.S. by 2018.
