Healthy Dining’s registered dietitian says restaurant has “impressive nutritional profile”
Natural Epicurean, a Healthy Dining restaurant partner, is focused on healthy, wholesome, natural and organic food.
Located at The BROADMOOR in Colorado Springs, the restaurant’s many fresh, locally sourced choices are healthy and packed with flavor. Natural Epicurean also offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.
“The menu at Natural Epicurean has an impressive nutritional profile, and its innovative menu tablets put all of the crucial information right at your fingertips,” said Mary Parsons, MS, RD, culinary dietitian at Healthy Dining. “Health-conscious guests who normally find restaurants limiting will be pleased to find a wealth of gourmet options, whether they’re watching calories or sodium, following a special diet, or simply seeking well-balanced healthy choices featuring sustainably sourcedmeats and garden-fresh produce. This is really haute cuisine for health nuts!”
All the produce is estate grown at BROADMOOR Farms.
“In looking at introducing a new restaurant concept for the Broadmoor, we recognized that healthy, wholesome, organic and natural foods are things more of our guests are looking for,” says C.W. Craig Reed, Director of Food & Beverage for The BROADMOOR. “We also know that guests will choose to dine at a restaurant, with healthy offering over one without. We opened Natural Epicurean as a restaurant that incorporates this spirit of healthy dining along with an array of green initiatives.”
