Bakery café is first in Greenville, sixth in North Carolina; latest to open as part of 18-store agreement with Rouse Properties
It’s a childhood staple that’s as American as apple pie, and its mouthwatering aroma has an uncanny way of triggering memories instilled by generations of mothers and grandmothers who know what it means to bake with love.
Fortunately, children of all ages can soon relive their warm memories of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven at the Greenville Mall, thanks to the arrival of a new Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip. The popular bakery café chain will host its official grand opening on Wednesday, March 25.
The celebration will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at the kiosk located in the center court of the Greenville Mall, near Dunham’s Sports and Victoria’s Secret. The festivities will feature coupon discounts, photo opportunities and meet-and-greets with the Nesquik Bunny himself. Franchisee Henry Ng said he has been looking forward to this opportunity for a long time. He is confident his new café will quickly build a reputation for serving up smiles to bustling shoppers with its freshly baked treats, delicious specialty coffees and savory meal offerings.
“When shoppers notice our kiosk for the first time, they will be instantly drawn in. After all, who doesn’t enjoy taking a refreshing break with a sweet treat and cup of premium coffee? The two go hand-in-hand,” said Ng. “Our new kiosk is beautiful, too. I can already tell it’s going to be a very popular addition to the Greenville Mall.”
