Premium dessert destination appoints Senior Global Training Manager
Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip has experienced rapid growth both domestically and internationally. To maintain its operational excellence, the brand known for serving up freshly baked cookies, premium coffees and savory sandwiches promoted 35-year hospitality industry veteran, Sharon D’george, to Senior Global Training Manager.
D’george joined Crest Foods, Inc., the franchisor of Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip, in 2014 as Senior Training Development Manager where she led new restaurant openings, recipe development, compliance and training certifications. In her new role, she will continue to roll out new training support tools and drive all elements of corporate and café training.
“When it comes to franchise relations, decision making and problem resolution, Sharon’s performance has always been influential for Crest Foods,” said Shawnon Bellah, chief operations officer with Crest Foods, Inc. “She will continue driving all aspects of our training programs, which have produced superior operations standards at all of our locations across the world.”
Previous to her role at Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip, D’george served as adjunct Professor of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at Northampton Community College and was a Certification Instructor for the American Motel Hotel Association. In addition, she was the president and CEO of TrainSafe Inc and achieved Star Unit status with Gardner Merchant Foodservices, working at a division of Xerox, Exxon Research Center and Air Products.
