Westchester-based, fast-casual, dessert shop concept, COOKIES N’ CREAM, opened a new franchise location at 66-62 Dry Harbor Road, Middle Village, Queens on Monday, June 3, 2024. Franchisees, Frank Barbone and Sal Fescina report that the areas third COOKIES N’ CREAM retail shop had the biggest Grand Opening to date with a record number of sales on opening day. Promoted exclusively on social media, an estimated 450 people stopped by the new COOKIES N’CREAM location to sample fresh baked cookies, ice creams, sorbets and vegan options.
“COOKIES N’ CREAM combines two of the most popular and widely consumed dessert staples,” says Queens native and co-owner, Sal Fescina. “There is no other concept like COOKIES N’ CREAM,” his partner, Frank Barbone adds, “Based on the overwhelming reaction we’re getting from the Queens community, we’re now considering an additional location in Brooklyn.”
Cookies N’ Cream: Local, Natural Ingredients and Vegan Options
The Westchester-based dessert shop concept, created by veteran entrepreneur, Joe Edwards, features 24 cookie choices including childhood favorites and modern takes on classic flavors. There are also eight “cookie creations” including stuffed cookies and combinations of cookies with sweet toppings. For the ice cream component, COOKIES N’ CREAM offers dozens of ice cream and sorbet flavors as well as vegan options.
Cookies N’ Cream Expands Throughout the N.Y. Tri-State & Beyond
COOKIES N’ CREAM has two other locations in Bronxville and Yonkers. Additional franchised locations are expected to open in Rockland County, NY, Staten Island, NY, Long Island,NY, Bergen County, NJ and the Dallas/Forth Worth markets in Texas.
