New Dickey’s Barbecue Coming Soon To Grand Prairie

Franchise owner Wallace Owens is excited to be adding a new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit to Grand Prairie. Owens has signed a lease and is eager to begin construction on his new space.

“I’m very excited about representing Dickey’s Barbecue in South Grand Prairie,” said Owens. “I can’t wait to begin working with the community.”

Owens was born and raised in Arlington. He has over 25 years of restaurant experience including over 18 years in the barbecue segment. His new location is just north of I-20 on Carrier Parkway in South Grand Prairie at 3710 S. Carrier Parkway. Owens is planning to open the new location in August.

“Owning my own business is a dream come true,” said Owens. “I’m experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations and it will be exciting to fully utilize my skills within my own restaurant.”
