Galleria shoppers can now satisfy their chicken finger cravings at the newest Raising Cane’s in the mall’s food court. The Galleria location is the restaurant’s first site inside a mall in Houston. The restaurant celebrated the grand opening of their newest location with food and merchandise giveaways.
In light of the exciting occasion, Raising Cane’s gave its first 100 customers custom commemorative T-shirts and Box Combo gift certificates. The opening ceremony also kicked off the restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway where the winner can donate $1,000 to his or her favorite local charity, in addition to receiving Free Cane’s for a Year. Customers will have a chance to enter through April 24.
“Thank you to everyone that came out to wish us a warm welcome to the Galleria,” said Michael Stowe, general manager. “We’re excited to get settled in and become a delicious retreat to mall shoppers.”
As part of their pre-opening day community service and team building program, Stowe and his new Raising Cane’s crew members volunteered their time last Friday at Goodwill where they helped sort clothing. Among its active community involvement initiatives, Raising Cane’s has a tradition of participating in community service projects in the local area prior to the restaurant opening.
The new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is located inside the Galleria Mall food court next to Foot Locker and Sanrio at 5015 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77056 . The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
With the opening of this location, Raising Cane’s has 123 restaurants representing 16 states with 30 locations in Texas. Of these, nine are in the Greater Houston region including restaurants on Westheimer Road, Cypress/Northwest Houston, Pearland, Sugar Land and The Woodlands. That number will grow with the openings of new Raising Cane’s in Pasadena and on Ella Road in the early summer.
Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was recently recognized as one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in the U.S. according to industry trend analysis Technomic. The restaurant ranked eight among restaurant chains with sales over $200 million. In addition, for the fifth consecutive year in a row, the restaurant has also been honored as one of the top quick-service restaurant chains in the country for customer satisfaction by a Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study released earlier this year. The chain placed second for best overall service among 150 restaurants studied and was the highest-rated restaurant company for temperature of food, accuracy in filling orders, and cleanliness of restaurants.
The company has ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals – and an expanding fan base of “Caniacs” devoted to the company’s signature fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers and popular secret sauce. With a consistent brand focus on its ONE LOVE, customer service and on supporting the communities in which it serves, Raising Cane’s has earned its place as a front-runner in the competitive quick service restaurant segment.
