Scottsdale, AZ – Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill
Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill will roll out a new concept in Asian fusion cuisine at Hayden Peak Crossing, Pederson Group’s upscale neighborhood shopping center at Thompson Peak Parkway and Hayden Road in Scottsdale. The company has leased 1,781 square feet for Ling’s Wok Shop, which will combine the speed of a fast-casual restaurant with a full-service dining establishment, according to a press release.

Barboursville, WV – 1861 Public House
A new spot will soon be opening in the village of Barboursville that will allow you to sit down, unwind and sip on a craft beer. 1861 Public House is a new taproom that will be located along Central Avenue in the village. It will be next door to Main Street on Central. The owner, Jason Beter, who also owns Oscar’s Breakfast, Burgers & Brews, says they will mostly focus on serving craft beers from West Virginia.

Fresno, CA – Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop
US-based Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has announced a new franchise agreement, which will see three new restaurants opening in Fresno, California. The first restaurant will open at 5058 N Palm Avenue in the next few months. The three-store agreement with Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop has been signed by restaurant industry veteran and current multi-unit Checkers and Rally’s franchisee Javier Gomez.

Indianapolis, IN – Chicken Salad Chick
US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick has unveiled plans to open four company-owned restaurants in Indianapolis, the capital of the state of Indiana, US. The four locations at Michigan, Fishers, Glendale, and Greenwood will be opened over the course of the year to expand the company’s presence in the state. The restaurant chain already has a location in Indiana at Jeffersonville, which opened in June last year. The Michigan restaurant will be located in the Pyramid Place Shopping Center. It will be the first to open its doors and is scheduled to start operating from 9 March.

Panama City Beach, FL – Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q
A Texas-based restaurant will soon bring its signature barbecue to the Beach. With about 40 locations scattered across Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona, Rudy’s Country Store and Bar-B-Q plans to open its first Florida location in Panama City Beach, said Alan Jordan, director of operations for the brand. Rudy’s is slated to open sometime this summer on Panama City Beach Parkway near the Bookit.com building.

Austin, TX – Oh K-Dog
National Korean mini-chain Oh K-Dog is opening a second location in Austin’s Highland neighborhood. In addition to the original location in H-Mart, the new location will open at 6929 Airport Boulevard, within the Ranch Market shopping center (which also houses Asian supermarket chain 99 Ranch). The new location will open by the end of March.
