Westfield, IN – RIVET Coffee Roasters
Business partners Allie Commons and Chris and Stefanie Dillow are opening their new venture, RIVET Coffee Roasters, in stages. Although the café portion of the business won’t open until spring of next year, coffee fiends can still get their caffeine fix. The company’s roastery, attached to the same building the café will open in at 337 Jersey St., is currently open.

Charleston, WV – D.P. Dough
Known for its variety of warm-from-the-oven jumbo, stuffed calzones, chain D.P. Dough is opening a new location at 166 Summers St. inside the old Subway there. Created back in 1987 by “a dude and his mom,” D. P. specializes in delivering ooey, gooey, cheesy goodness on college campuses throughout the country. (The downtown Charleston spot joins other West Virginia locations near Marshall University, in Huntington, and WVU, in Morgantown.)

Hamilton, OH – Raising Cane’s
Raising Cane’s is set to construct a new restaurant on Hamilton’s West Side early next year, the Journal-News reports. Plans were submitted by a developer on Wednesday to construct the third location of the chicken fingers chain in Butler County. It would be the 13th in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. There are also four locations in the Miami Valley.

Staten Island, NY – Dunkin’
As many businesses struggle to survive amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a popular coffee and donut chain is opening a new restaurant in West Brighton. The new Dunkin’ restaurant — to be located in a storefront that formerly housed Neighborhood Housing Services at 770 Castleton Ave. — is expected to open sometime between Christmas and New Year’s day, according to a spokesperson for the restaurant chain.

Troy, NY – Bowled Co.
Fast-casual health food restaurant Bowled Co. is expanding throughout the Capital Region, with a new eatery in Malta and another coming soon in Troy. Originally founded in 2019, Bowled Co. is growing quickly, even amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The first Bowled Co. location opened last fall in Schenectady, followed by one in Scotia. Recently, the company expanded into Saratoga County with a new restaurant at 1104 Ellsworth Blvd. in Malta.

Peoria, IL – Panchero’s Mexican Grill
A new Mexican restaurant will soon be coming to the Shoppes at Grand Prairie in Peoria. Panchero’s Mexican Grill is expected to be open by April 2021. The company’s motto is ‘burritos better built.’ The business serves burritos, burrito bowls, quesadillas, and more. Construction for the restaurant is now underway across from Steak and Shake.
