Rise and Shine Durham! The newest Another Broken Egg Café is getting ready to open in the Bull City Monday April 23. Another Broken Egg Café is America’s premiere upscale breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, with a menu featuring a unique blend of the finest ingredients that creates a gourmet dining experience where the service and ambience are as impressive as the food. The Durham location is the first planned for Double R Restaurant Group in North Carolina. The company has several other locations planned for North and South Carolina, including one opening later this summer in Morrisville, NC.
“The Triangle market was a logical location for our first restaurant,” said Stuart Ottinger, head of operations for Double R Restaurant Group. “It is one of the most vibrant, fastest growing areas in the country, and we know the people there are quickly going to embrace the incredible food, service and atmosphere of Another Broken Egg Café. All at an affordable price.”
Whether it is a business meeting, a casual outing with friends or a family meal together, Another Broken Egg Café offers an array of dishes to satisfy even the most discriminating taste, from traditional to creative. Its 130-item menu includes breakfast signature favorites such as their Egg-Straordinary Smoke Salmon Omelette, the Benedict Oscar (a grilled Sirloin steak atop a toasted English muffin finished with two poached eggs, sautéed crab meat, asparagus and béarnaise sauce), Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Bananas Foster waffle. Lunch specialty sandwiches include Crabcake Crostinis (three petite lump crab cakes on grilled French bread), the Black and Blue Cobb Salad, the Southern Shrimp Salad and the Cajun Tuna Sandwich.
“Another Broken Egg Café offers a dining experience that will be unmatched in the Triangle,” said Ottinger. “The family and business demographics are a perfect match for our customers. I am confident we will quickly become THE choice in Durham for breakfast, brunch or lunch.”
Another Broken Egg Café is located at 2608 Erwin Road (Pavilion East) near the Duke University campus in Durham. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily (closed Thanksgiving & Christmas).
