Denver-based The Egg & I Restaurants announces the opening of its 59th restaurant on Monday, July 2nd. The restaurant opens at 6:00 a.m. and is located at 11692 Manchester Rd. approximately 1 ½ miles east of 270.
On July 1st, the restaurant will donate 100% of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to The BackStoppers. The mission of The BackStoppers is to ensure stability and quality of life for the families of police officers, firefighters and publically-funded paramedics and EMTs killed in the line of duty or suffering a catastrophic injury in a defined coverage area in Missouri and Illinois. “We are thrilled to have the support of new The Egg & I Restaurant of St. Louis,” said The BackStoppers Executive Director Chief, Ron Battelle. “The dollars raised at this event will be used to help honor those who give their lives protecting our communities.”

The Egg & I Restaurants, headquartered in Centennial, CO, opened its first restaurant in Ft. Collins, CO in 1987. With the St. Louis restaurant opening there will be 60 company and franchise restaurants operating in 15 states throughout the U.S. The Egg & I Restaurants are casual, full-service, breakfast and lunch restaurants open Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (2:30 p.m. on weekends).
