Newest The Egg & I Restaurant Opening on June 25, 2012 in Plano, TX

Denver-based The Egg & I Restaurants announces the opening of its 58th restaurant on Monday, June 25th.  The restaurant opens at 6:00 a.m., and is located at 3131 Custer Road on the southwest corner of Custer and Parker Road.

On June 24rd, the restaurant will donate 100% of all proceeds from its private, pre-opening training day to The Junior League of Collin County.  Donations will benefit many charitable community projects the League supports, including:  ManeGait and My Friend’s House.

“The Junior League of Collin County’s valuable community programs are supported through fundraiser events such as this one sponsored by the new The Egg & I Restaurant in Plano. Because our League is volunteer based, almost all funds earned through efforts such as this one are allocated to our outreach projects. We are excited to partner with the newest The Egg & I Restaurant and are very grateful for their support,” said Jennifer Jamieson, President of The Junior League of Collin County.

“We are all very excited about this event and about our new restaurant opening. The Plano community has already welcomed us with open arms and we can’t wait to become more involved in our new community and make new friends,” said Cindy Hernandez, General Manager of the new The Egg & I Restaurant. “We are also very pleased our restaurant is creating 35 new jobs in Plano.”

The Egg & I Restaurants, headquartered in Centennial, CO, opened its first restaurant in Ft. Collins, CO in 1987.
