“With premium proteins like sushi-grade Ahi tuna and now pork belly on the menu, we’re looking to push the envelope of fast-casual,” said Alan Wright, Chief Marketing Officer at Newk’s Eatery. “Our winter line up branches out from traditional holiday comfort foods, giving people a chance to enjoy what’s become known as bacon’s tastier, superior cousin with our new Pork Belly Sandwich. We’re also aiming to speak to the cheese lovers out there with Newk’s Chicken Alfredo Pizza which combines three cheese favorites: Alfredo sauce, goat cheese and fresh-grated mozzarella.”

Newk’s new Pork Belly Sandwich leads the pack with a full-bodied taste that is both addictingly savory and spicy. The sandwich features juicy pork belly that has been brined and marinated with Newk’s housemade ginger wasabi dressing overnight before it is flame-seared and roasted to lock in the prize cut’s mouth-watering flavor. Served on Newk’s signature bread, the pork belly is topped with mayonaisse and housemade pickled carrots, then finished off with fresh cilantro and jalapenos for the perfect kick. Guests can enjoy Newk’s Pork Belly Sandwich for $8.59.
