NYPD Pizza Launches Seasonal Dishes and New Permanent Menu Flavors

NYPD Pizza, a locally owned and operated family pizza kitchen with ten locations throughout metro-Phoenix, released its seasonal menu today, as well as announced new permanent dishes available. The fall/winter menu features:

  • Fall Harvest Salad

Enjoy a cornucopia of mixed greens, dried cranberries, fresh pears, sliced almonds and Gorgonzola tossed with tangy, low-fat Zinfandel vinaigrette.

  • Buffalo Chicken Pizza

NYPD Pizza’s not afraid to get saucy, especially with its pizzas. The new pie features grilled chicken breast smothered in tangy Upstate-style Buffalo sauce, celery and stringy mozzarella.

“The pairing of the Harvest Salad and authentic Buffalo Chicken Pizza will make you want to come back for seconds,” said Rich Stark, CEO of NYPD Pizza. “Both comfort dishes are a perfect selection to warm up with during the cooler season. New to our permanent menu are some of my favorite appetizer and dessert dishes that are also hard to resist.”

The new permanent dishes at NYPD Pizza include the “Crispy Fresh Mozzarella,” made with fresh mozzarella hand dipped in panko breadcrumbs and lightly fried to golden brown perfection. The appetizer is served with a side of fresh basil and balsamic reduction.

The new desserts include the gluten-free “Flourless Chocolate Torte” and “Zeppoli Sundae.” The Flourless Chocolate Torte is made with a blend of four chocolates and finished with a ganache topping. For the “Zeppoli Sundae,” NYPD Pizza has taken its classic Italian zeppolis and added even more goodness. Fried and tossed with cinnamon and sugar, these little nuggets of sweet pizza dough are covered with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and a cherry.
