Oregon Fruit Products Co. Debuts "Fruit In Hand" Fruit Starter Foodservice Brand

Premium, all-natural “pourable fruit” product is now available from broadline and specialty foodservice distributors nationwide

Oregon Fruit Products Company, a leading supplier of premium fruit products from Oregon’s fertile Willamette Valley, recently debuted its new Fruit In Hand brand of all-natural fruit starter products. Made with fresh, ripe fruit, harvested in peak season, the company’s eight Fruit In Hand flavors are ideal for restaurant and bar operators seeking exceptional flavor, aroma and appearance in specialty beverages, parfaits and desserts. Fruit In Hand is a substantial refresh and replacement of Oregon Fruit Products’ successful BerryUp! brand.

“Fruit In Hand helps operators deliver popular menu items, such as strawberry lemonade, with ripe, vibrant fruit, regardless of the limited seasonality of fresh fruit,” explains Jo Ellen Wayne, Oregon Fruit Products’ director of research and development. “It also helps operators avoid labor costs, price swings, recipe inconsistencies and shrink associated with working with fresh fruit.”

Fruit In Hand is available in eight flavors and two styles. Original style features precise, small chunks of real fruit. Velvet style is blended to a silky smooth texture. Fruit In Hand flavors include: Strawberry, Marion Blackberry, Raspberry, Mango, Mixed Berry, Blueberry, Cherry and Peach. The product line is available in frozen, one-liter bottles, sold in packs of six.

Oregon Fruit Products’ research and development experts also can work with customers to develop custom flavors, including specialty infusions. The Fruit In Hand product line is available from broadline and specialty foodservice distributors nationwide. Visit www.fruitinhand.com for more information.
