Outback Steakhouse Introduces New Steak Flights

Outback Steakhouse New Steak Flights

Outback Steakhouse is now offering guests a delicious way to explore different flavors with its new Steak Flights menu, starting at just $10.99.  The menu invites guests to break out of their comfort zone and experience a variety of steak flavors and sauces that help customize their entree. Flights have already been proven popular with beverages like beer and wine, so Outback is expanding the trend to their award-winning steak.

The new Steak Flights menu is the boarding pass to a taste bud adventure that includes your choice of two or three portions of Outback Special Sirloin or Victoria’s Filet paired with an assortment of different sauce options, including classic Bernaise, Wild Mushroom, Diablo and Brandy Peppercorn . Steak Flights are served atop crispy potato cakes and a side of fresh steamed green beans. The Steak Flights menu delivers more than 50 custom combos for guests to enjoy at a great price. Outback chefs, including Executive Chef John Li , offered an exclusive first look at the new items through the brand’s first-ever Google + Hangout last week where they discussed the inspiration for the menu.

“The new Steak Flights menu is a riff on the beverage flight trend that we’ve seen increasing in popularity,” said John Li , Executive Chef for Outback.  “Trying something new when you’re dining out can feel like a commitment, so our chefs have created Steak Flights to allow guests to explore flavors on one plate without feeling locked in.”

Participants of the brand’s first-ever Google + Hangout were excited to get a “taste” of the new menu and said they are eager to give Steak Flights a try.

“I’m excited because when I go to Outback with my husband, one of the things we do is we try to get as many new things as we can off the menu,” said Adrianna D. Lupher , frequent Outback visitor and author of the Military Money Chicago blog. “I think this is awesome because we can probably both get the Flights and get totally different experiences. I cannot wait – we need to get a sitter, like yesterday!”

Steak Flights aren’t the only tasting experience available on the new menu. Outback is also offering a beer flight, and a dessert flight that will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth, Cake Pops.  Guests can have it all and eat cake pops too!  No need to pick favorites, guests can choose two or three flavors, including Cheesecake Melba, Chocolate Peanut Butter or Carrot Cake.
