Paciugo Gelato Caffè to Thank All Veterans and Troops with a FREE Gelatte on Veterans Day

Paciugo will thank our nation’s veterans and troops on Veterans Day in a way only they can: with a FREE Gelatte.

Paciugo, the Dallas-based specialty brand best known for its authentic Italian gelato, is giving away a 12 oz. beverage of their newest creation, the Gelatte, to service men and women on their day of celebration and honor. The Gelatte is a hot latte steamed with gelato, resulting in a distinctly unique, more flavorful version of the traditional latte.

“We want to do our part in thanking all veterans and troops on their special day with something different, something they can only get at Paciugo,” said Paciugo Director of Marketing, John Kelly.

The secret to the Gelatte is in the gelato, which is handcrafted using wholesome ingredients of the highest quality from around the world.  Paciugo (pronounced “pah-CHOO-go”, which means “messy concoction”) recently introduced two new flavors, Apple Caramel and Spiced Pumpkin Gelattes, warming up the Paciugo menu through November 27.

Paciugo was recently named D Magazine’s Readers’ Choice for Best Ice Cream/Gelato in Dallas, Texas in the publication’s 12th annual Guide to the Best in Dallas. It is the fourth consecutive annual honor for the Italy-inspired, Dallas-based Paciugo.

With nearly 400 recipes in its portfolio, 44 Paciugo Gelato Caffè locations in 16 states each serve an assortment of 32- 40 flavors, made fresh daily at all gelato caffès. This means their Gelatte can be served as any number of flavors, which allows all current and former military men and women to craft a free Gelatte of their choice.

Paciugo gelato is made with whole milk versus cream, resulting in a flavorful frozen treasure with up to 70% less fat and fewer calories than ice cream. In addition to milk-based gelato, Paciugo offers water-based, fat-free sorbets, soy-based gelato and No Sugar Added versions of gelato. Paciugo gelato and sorbets are smoother in texture than ice cream and are prepared in small batches for optimum taste.

To complement their unique gelato, Paciugo offers gelato-inspired shakes, smoothies, iced coffees, Gelattes and artisanal favorites like affogato and creamy Belgian hot chocolates.  Paciugo also serves only the best Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso and Italian roast coffee.

Paciugo’s offer of a free 12 oz. Gelatte to veterans and active duty military service members is available on Monday, November 11, 2013 at participating locations while supplies last. There is a limit of one Gelatte per military service member. Military guests will need to provide proof of military service.

Paciugo Gelato Caffè was founded in 2000 when Ugo, Cristiana and Vincent Ginatta, inspired by their passion of bringing Italian gelato to America, moved to Dallas, Texas and opened their first gelateria. Since then, the company has grown to 44 locations in 16 states. Paciugo Gelato Caffè offers more than 30 flavors daily of gelato that are handcrafted every morning at each neighborhood location. To complement their unique gelato, Paciugo offers gelato-inspired shakes, gelato-based specialty desserts, smoothies, espresso-based drinks, iced coffees, Gelattes and artisanal favorites like affogato and creamy Belgian hot chocolates.  Paciugo also serves only the best Latte, Cappuccino, Espresso, all-natural 100 percent Arabica coffee and Italian roast coffee.  For more information, visit www.paciugo.com or follow Paciugo on Facebook and Twitter @PaciugoTweets.  Prospective franchise partners are invited to visit http://paciugofranchising.com.
