Pancheros Mexican Grill, a fast casual Mexican restaurant known for crafting delectable burritos, has officially teamed up with Iowa State University for their annual Dance Marathon event. For the fourth consecutive year, Pancheros will donate over 1,200 burritos to the charity event. Benefiting the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, Pancheros will serve up burrito masterpieces to nourish hungry participants dancing the night away on January 26, 2013.
Known for providing an unparalleled dining experience, Pancheros offers customers an array of burrito options, all of which are concocted with freshly grilled meats and vegetables. Each burrito is constructed with a signature fresh-pressed tortilla then rolled and stuffed with love. To ensure patrons receive a well-balanced burrito, the Mexican restaurant employs a small plastic spatula, “Bob the Tool,” which carefully mixes all of the savory ingredients together. Other appetizing menu selections include: quesadillas, tacos, burrito bowls and salads.
“Through the donation of our burritos, we hope to not only fuel hungry dancers, but also encourage them to raise even more money than the previous year,” said Rodney Anderson, President of Pancheros Mexican Grill. “Pancheros is always looking for ways to give back to the neighborhoods we operate in and are grateful to have the opportunity to give back to both Iowa State University and the Ames community.”
For over 15 years, Iowa State University has been dedicated to raising money to benefit the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Last year, the event raised over $380,000, assisting hundreds of children across Iowa with life threatening illnesses. This year, the organization hopes to continue to grow and make a larger impact on families throughout the area.
