Next Generation Salad Bar prepares for Sept. 22 grand opening
Following the success of its initial Pearland location, Salata is excited to announce the grand opening of a second restaurant in the area on Friday, Sept. 22.
The new restaurant, located at 2570 Pearland Parkway, will celebrate its grand opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. hosted by the Pearland Chamber of Commerce. Doors will open to the public at 11 a.m.
The Next Generation Salad Bar is pulling out all the stops for its opening-day celebrations, including treating the first 50 dine-in customers on Friday to a free meal. Later in the evening, from 5-8 p.m., guests can enjoy a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult entrée. Additionally, there will be a live DJ on-site while patrons partake in a variety of family-friendly activities, including face painting, a photo booth and spinwheel prizes. All of Friday’s guests will also have a chance to win free Salata for a year.
“It’s thrilling to see the people of Pearland embracing the Salata brand,” said Chief Operating Officer Iris Campos, who has called Pearland home since 2005. “We’ve assembled a great team that’s excited to share our healthy, quality menu with even more residents and workers here in this great city.”
Pearland’s new Salata will continue its community support efforts by donating 50 percent of the proceeds made during opening day to the Hurricane Relief Fund at Crosspoint Church. The donation will go towards alleviating the hardships of those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston and surrounding areas. In addition, all operational Houston-area Salata locations provided complimentary meals to local first responders during the initial recovery period.
“We are incredibly honored that Salata has chosen to partner with Crosspoint Church as we help our community recover from Hurricane Harvey,” said Sarah Parker, Communications Director at Crosspoint. “With one purchase, you can enjoy a healthy meal AND support your neighbor! We LOVE Salata!”
