Fast Casual Custom Pizza Leader Continues Northern California Expansion
Pieology Pizzeria, where pizza lovers go to create custom pizzas in endless flavor combinations, today announced the opening of its first Vacaville location on Friday, April 17th. Pieology Vacaville is located at The Nut Tree Plaza at 1650 East Monte Vista Ave., between The Habit Burger and Buckhorn BBQ. A proven favorite with pizza fans, Pieology currently has eight locations in Northern California, with plans to open four more by summer.
“We are excited to bring the Pieology experience to the Vacaville community, where guests can build their individualized pizzas with unlimited toppings,” said Dan Abfalter, franchisee. “Pieology is a creative and interactive concept that can be shared with family and friends.”
The Pieology experience starts with fresh house-made dough that is pressed into 11.5-inch thin pizza crusts. Guests first select from eight signature sauces, moving down the line to choose from more than 30 fresh and flavorful meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs and spices. The customized pizzas are then stone oven fired to perfection in less than three minutes. To finish, guests have the option to add after-bake “Flavor Blast” sauces, including fiery buffalo, pesto and BBQ, to their own unique creation. Most custom pizzas with unlimited toppings are $8.00 or less. Pieology also offers gluten-free crust, whole wheat crust and a selection of seven signature pizzas, which can be customized upon request.
Pieology Vacaville comfortably seats approximately 85 guests inside and 20 outside in an industrial-chic and friendly environment where inspirational quotes decorate the walls, menus and employee uniforms.
