The new Pizza Studio in Alhambra not only lets you create masterpieces with its unique crusts and fresh, yummy-tasting pizza ingredients, but it will also showcase the talents of local artists, singers, and dancers in celebration of its Grand Opening this Thursday, October 1 through Sunday, October 4, 2015. Continuing with his support of local artists of all kinds, Pizza Studio’s owner, Luke Strockis, promises a fun-filled weekend where patrons get a chance to shine. They will sing for their supper, dance for dough, or let their inner “Van Dough” or “Mona Pizza” out by creating their own art pieces. Pizza Studio holds a different celebration each day hosted by “Pie Casso,” our master of ceremonies during these events:
Thursday, 10/1/15, 3pm-7pm: “High School Heaven” – High school students get free pizza with their student IDs. Patrons will enter a raffle for Apple products, and spin-to-win every day for even more prizes.
Friday, 10/2/15, 3pm-7pm: Patrons will “Sing for their Supper” – After they create their Pizza masterpiece, patrons will sing on the spot to get a free pizza. Pie Casso, the MC, will sing along for everyone’s entertainment. Employees will join in the fun. Raffle prizes include: Ticket Master concert tickets and spin-to-win prizes. Enter the raffle to win the iPhone 6S.
Saturday, 10/3/15: 10am-Noon: “Pumpkin Runners Raid” – Pumpkin 5K Run participants will receive free pizza and photo ops when they show up with their running bibs or costumes.
Noon-5pm: “Dance for Dough” – Free pizza to anyone who busts a move at the register. Impromptu dance lessons for all by local dance teachers. Spontaneous dance performances will be performed from Jayvee Dance Studio for everyone’s entertainment. Raffle prize drawing includes: $500 dance scholarship to Jayvee Dance Studio and spin-to-win prizes.
Sunday, 10/4, Noon-5pm: “Create for a Cause” – A variety of artists will create art on pizza boxes right before your eyes and patrons will create their own art pieces for free food items. The grand prize winner of an iPhone 6S will be announced and Pizza Studio will give away a masterpiece from the starving artists wall! Local artists will also pick up pizza boxes to enter an art contest – the first place winner will receive $500 in mid-October in celebration of National Pizza Month.
Pizza Studio Alhambra is committed to the neighborhood community and proudly supports local artists by donating a portion of the Grand Opening sales to local art causes and by continuing to provide a ‘Starving Artists’ Wall’ – which displays and sells local art pieces commission-free. Also, with the help of our partners at Feeding America, our restaurants also play an active role in fighting hunger by donating a free meal for every 20 points earned in its Rewards Program.
