The newest First Watch restaurant will open Monday in Cary

Popular Raleigh Brunch Spot to Open 7 Additional Locations in North CarolinaFirst Watch Restaurants, a popular breakfast, brunch and lunch concept with two restaurants in Raleigh, today announced that it will open seven more restaurants in North Carolina in addition to the five restaurants from a previously-announced agreement with existing franchisee, VIM Holdings. The newest First Watch restaurant will open at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 13, at 1325 Bradford View Drive in Cary. The 3,500-square-foot restaurant will employ about 25 people.

The new restaurant is the third of a dozen total planned First Watch openings within the next six years in North Carolina as part of an expanded agreement with VIM Holdings. This area includes the Triangle, as well as Fayetteville, Wilmington, New Bern, Jacksonville and Greenville. The franchise group currently owns and operates two First Watch restaurants in Northwest Raleigh on Glenwood Avenue and Northeast Raleigh on Capital Boulevard in the Triangle Town Center.

Robert Frame – the president and founder of VIM Holdings – has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, having held executive positions with both LongHorn Steakhouse and Waffle House. Before teaming up with First Watch, he was COO of Apple Gold, an Applebee’s franchise with more than 130 locations in 6 states and headquartered in Raleigh.

“Our two First Watch restaurants in the area have been so well received from our neighbors in my hometown of Raleigh that it led to our decision to commit to opening many more,” said Frame. “We saw an opportunity in the breakfast and lunch market here that needed to be filled, and First Watch has proven to be a great fit. We’re confident that our friends in Cary will enjoy our fresh, creative approach to breakfast, brunch and lunch.”
