Sunny Street Café has brought back their wildly popular Pumpkin Spice Pancakes for another year. Having gained a cult-like following, the pancakes are one of two new items Sunny Street will be offering this fall.
“Our guests ask about our Pumpkin Pancakes year-round,” says Mike Stasko, VP of Brand Strategy for Sunny Street Café. “When we finally do roll them back out, it can be hard to keep up with the demand.”
Made with a special recipe pumpkin spice batter, the pancakes are cooked golden and fluffy, then topped with a tres leches drizzle and cinnamon-walnut butter. “It truly is a delicious recipe, and comes at the perfect time of year,” Stasko said. “The weather is just cooling off, and folks are in the mood for a hot stack of pancakes, especially when they’re pumpkin. I would put our pumpkin pancakes up against just about anyone.”
Sunny Street Café is also introducing Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffins this season, the first in their new line of made-from-scratch muffins. Spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon, the muffins bake up light and moist and have a cream cheese filling. They’re finished with a drizzle of cream cheese frosting on top.
Both Pumpkin Spice Pancakes and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins are available for a limited time at all 14 Sunny Street Café locations in Ohio, Missouri, Texas and Alabama. For more information visit www.sunnystreetcafe.com.
