The Plano restaurant has created close to 200 jobs for the area and is the third Quaker Steak & Lube location to open in Texas. The new Lube encompasses an 8,000 square-foot design while accommodating seating for more than 360 people including a 1,000 square-foot brickyard patio, two full-service bars and over 34 flat screen TVs.
In June 2012, the company launched its Texas invasion and announced plans to open 10 new restaurants throughout the area, two of which are currently open in Carrollton and Waco.
