Award-Winning Casual-Dining Franchise Offers New Menu Selections This Summer
The Award-Winning casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube, known for its Best Wings USA and more than 20 sauces, has rolled out a new summer menu system-wide. The innovative menu will be appearing in select participating Quaker Steak & Luberestaurants in the United States and Canada.
Highlights of the new menu include, Spin-out Artichoke Dip, Quaker “Steak” Salad, Smoked Turkey & Apple Salad, Beer Battered Fish Sandwich, Mac & Cheezburger, Mango Habanero Salmon, Fish & Chips Basket and Salted Caramel Cake for dessert. Additionally, the brand brought back its annual Red, White and Lube-A-Licious summer promotion, which includes limited time offerings such as Crispy Shrimp Tacos, Sante Fe Smoked Turkey Wrap, Golden BBQ Grill’d Chicken Salad and Pop-A-Wheelie BBQ Chicken Pizza for kids eight and under.
“The main goal of this menu is to highlight our brand new seasonal items, while placing an emphasis on our fan favorite Red, White and Lube-A-Licious promotion,” said Katy Malaniak , senior director of food and beverage, Quaker Steak & Lube®. “This summer, we want guests around the country to enjoy traditional American cuisine with our signature Lube twist.”
The new menu features a number of innovative sauces, including Dusted Mango Habanero, Fiery BBQ, Boom Boom creamy garlic and red pepper, Smokin’ Texas BBQ Lite and Smoky Gold BBQ. In addition, the franchise has restructured its appetizer menu to include a brand new section called ” Pit Crew Pickin ‘s”. The Lube continues to offer guests chicken as a substitute to any of its burger and sandwich options; and as part of the new menu, Quaker Steak & Lubeis using the famous Lube mascot, Coop, to reinforce a brand new chicken sandwich category, Coop’s Chicken sandwiches, with options such as the Hot Rod Chicken and Arizona El Camino.
Quaker Steak & Lube’scompelling decor, including race cars suspended from the ceilings, motorcycles, Corvettes and gas station memorabilia, combined with its craveable food and SuperCharged events, has created a cult-like following for The Lube for more than 38 years. The company experienced significant growth in 2012, with 11 restaurant openings, a 22 percent increase from the previous year and a 13 percent increase in system wide revenues.
