Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers Open in Parkdale Mall

Beaumont residents today celebrated the grand opening of the area’s first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers with a series of activities at the Parkdale Mall. Hailed as one of the fastest growing restaurants, Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s has experienced a surge in popularity and growth in Southeast Texas, nearly doubling its presence in the region to 15 locations in the last six months.

To thank the community for its support, Raising Cane’s gave its first 100 customers a commemorative T-shirt and meal voucher for the fan-favorite Box Combo, containing four fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, fries and a drink. The grand opening also kicked off the restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway promotion, where customers can register through May 10 to win a $1,000 donation to his or her favorite local charity, as well as Free Cane’s for a Year.

“We’re excited to introduce Raising Cane’s to Beaumont,” said Cy Martin, general manager. “Southeast Texas has a strong presence of Caniacs, and we look forward to getting to know our neighbors at our new Parkdale Mall restaurant.”

The new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is located inside the Parkdale Mall at 6155 Eastex Freeway, Beaumont, Texas. The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.

The opening of the Parkdale Mall location makes it the first Raising Cane’s in the Beaumont area and the 33rd in Texas. Raising Cane’s now has a total of 126 restaurants in 16 states with new restaurants under construction. In part to the chicken finger chain’s aggressive expansion across Texas this year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was named one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in the U.S. according to a new industry trend analysis by Technomic.

In addition, Raising Cane’s was recently honored as one of the top quick-service restaurant chains in the country for customer satisfaction by a Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study, for the fifth consecutive year. The restaurant placed second for best overall service among 150 restaurants studied and was the highest-rated restaurant company for temperature of food, accuracy in filling orders, and cleanliness of restaurants.

The company has ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals – and an expanding fan base of “Caniacs” devoted to the company’s signature fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers and popular secret sauce. With a consistent brand focus on its ONE LOVE, customer service and on supporting the communities in which it serves, Raising Cane’s has earned its place as a front-runner in the competitive quick service restaurant segment.
