Raising Cane’s Named to DFW’s Top 100 Places to Work for 4th Consecutive Year

Raising Cane's Named to DFW's Top 100 Places to Work for 4th Consecutive Year

For the fourth consecutive year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers has been recognized by The Dallas Morning News as one of the Top 100 Places to Work in Dallas/Fort Worth.  The nationwide restaurant chain distinguished by its singular focus on quality chicken finger meals ranked 13thin the large-company category.

Raising Cane’s is the only restaurant company to make the Top 100 in 2012.  It has been voted onto the list every year since the contest’s inception.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the elite 100 companies – especially the “four-peaters” – are distinguished by their vigilant maintenance of a “hospitable, nurturing and fun environment.”

“We work hard at Cane’s to create a culture that’s fun-loving, high-energy and community-focused,” said Todd Graves, who goes by the title of Founder, CEO, Fry Cook & Cashier. “We recruit highly motivated and talented individuals that understand the importance of serving our customers and our communities, and we give them the tools and latitude to exceed expectations.”

Founded in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Cane’s opened its Restaurant Support Office in Plano four years ago.  From there, dozens of energetic employees now direct the company’s coast-to-coast expansion, including its aggressive push throughout DFW and Texas.  After opening restaurants in Keller and in the Galleria Dallas mall in October, Cane’s now boasts 19 locations throughout the DFW Metroplex.  And more are on the way in 2013.

It’s not hard to see why Raising Cane’s is one of the best places to work.  One step inside and you can immediately sense the friendly, fun atmosphere.  Crewmembers smile and welcome you in a genuine, unforced manner. You can tell they actually enjoy working there.

“We’re especially proud to earn this distinction from the Morning News because the votes are cast by real employees,” said Graves.

Known for its ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals – Raising Cane’s is widely recognized as an industry leader in customer service and is distinguished by its generous support of the communities it serves.  Nationwide, the company supports more than 150 educational institutions, 25 food banks, 25 pet welfare societies, 100 active lifestyle programs and 75 professional organizations.

Over the weekend, Graves presented free iPads to 52 chronically/terminally ill and severely handicapped children in Orlando, aspart of the Kidd’s Kids dream vacation to Disney World.  Cane’s is a major supporter of the charity founded by Las Colinas-based Kidd Kraddick, host of the nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick in the Morning program.  The company has also written checks totaling more than $40,000 in support of Kidd’s Kids since forming the relationship earlier this year.

Raising Cane’s clever radio spots, featuring Kraddick’s sidekick Kellie Rasberry, are frequently heard on the top-rated program, as well as on The Ticket and other popular local radio stations.  The company also employs cable television, buses and billboards, which have helped elevate the brand’s profile and awareness throughout the Metroplex.

“We’re still a relatively small player in the DFW area, but we’re growing quickly and we’re attracting a lot of positive attention from customers and potential crewmembers,” said Graves.
