Raising Cane’s Opens Doors to Second Oklahoma Restaurant in Moore

Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opened the doors of its second Oklahoma restaurant in Moore today. Known for its industry-leading customer service and commitment to community, Raising Cane’s received a warm welcome from Southmoore High School cheerleaders and members of the Moore Chamber of Commerce, who took part in the restaurant’s grand opening celebration.

In light of the exciting occasion, Raising Cane’s gave its first 100 customers a commemorative T-shirt and meal voucher for the fan-favorite Box Combo, containing four fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, fries and a drink. Today also kicked off the restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway grand opening tradition where customers can register through May 9 to win a $1,000 donation to his or her favorite local charity, as well as Free Cane’s for a Year.

“We are very grateful to everyone who came out today to welcome Raising Cane’s to the neighborhood,” said Damon Thomas, general manager. “We are excited to get to know this tight-knit community and grow our presence in the Moore area.”

Last Friday, Thomas and his new Raising Cane’s crew members volunteered their time at Little River Park by picking up trash and planting flowers. As part of its commitment to giving back to the community, Raising Cane’s makes it a priority to participate in a community service project before each new restaurant opening.

The new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is located at 700 SW 19th Street in front of the Target shopping center. The restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to midnight.

The opening of the Moore location makes it the second Raising Cane’s in Oklahoma, with the first restaurant opening in Norman in November 2005. Raising Cane’s now has a total of 126 restaurants in 16 states with new restaurants under construction. In part to the chicken finger chain’s aggressive expansion this year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was named one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in the U.S. according to a new industry trend analysis by Technomic.

In addition, Raising Cane’s was recently honored as one of the top quick-service restaurant chains in the country for customer satisfaction by a Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study, for the fifth consecutive year. The restaurant placed second for best overall service among 150 restaurants studied and was the highest-rated restaurant company for temperature of food, accuracy in filling orders, and cleanliness of restaurants.

The company has ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals – and an expanding fan base of “Caniacs” devoted to the company’s signature fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers and popular secret sauce. With a consistent brand focus on its ONE LOVE, customer service and on supporting the communities in which it serves, Raising Cane’s has earned its place as a front-runner in the competitive quick service restaurant segment.
